the problem is they dont sell those product to the customer..
but becuase i am a reguler customer.. that is why they gave
me the wax and polish..:db:

and from that time i noticed that meguires is a quality product??
i remember i send letter to meguire's company by taking their
address from the release wax can...writen at the back side??

it is 20 years ago but i dont remember that i got reply from them??

after five years i found the boat release wax at dubai uae
and i bought 24 pieces and still i got the wax with me..??

but one day i were visiting my friend garage and whe i were
talking suddenly i saw a 4 bottles next to me from meguaires
i shocked and told him from where the hill you got them.. who
is the dealer..and location... he asked me cood down whats up
is it good product.. i just got them few days ago.... i told him
yes.. this is the best polish and wax around the world.. are u
crazy.. give me the dealer.. then he lead me to the dealer..
who has got a specil place for car polish which called master shine
but i think master shine is buying the meguires from saudi arabia
its fine i am so happy with the polish and i love the company
too much

but i've got one question for you.. one day my friend took from
me the relase wax and told me that hi got a good result
when he used the release wax as a polish on his car

Hi,

I am also in Bahrain. O got the Maximum Mold Release #8 from Al-Kuwait Boat Repairing Workshop.

I am busy building my first mold. I need a smooth finish and do have a spray gun etc so I wouldn't like to use PVA. Is this possible? On this site I could find advise for using this wax for fiberglass mold construction. Any advise

Regards

Thanks for the reply. I would like to have info and advise on which type of mold release agent (wax, etc) one must use. I am building a kayak and am finished with the plug. Will apply the Gelcoat shortly. Some people say I must use wax and PVA. The guy where I bought the Maximum Mold Release #8 advised me to just use this as it is gooood! He said PVA will only take the smoothness away. I decided to go this root; even if it sticks I can brake out the plug (hopefully).

However when I want to make the boat from the molds, I don't want to take chances as all will be from fiberglass!

I also don't have a compressor and spray gun to apply PVA smoothly.

Any advice will be appreciated

Thanks

Kayak, I build gliders- you can wipe on pva with a rag, just kept it wet. I do realize a kayak is kind of big but you shoud be able to do it. I us Hi temp 85 mold release and it works well- I place ten coats on my plugs before pva. You will still have to sand your gelcoat with 600 fits to get any imperfections out then a finer like 1000 or 1200.
