Hi County2

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! :welcome

You know, I'm not exactly sure what the cure time is for ColorX or most Meguiar's Cleaner/Waxes. I know that the protective characteristics in ColorX come from synthetic polymers and carnauba wax.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to allow at least an hour to go by for good measure before topping with another wax. The idea behind any wax, natural or synthetic is to let it fully set-up before doing anything to it that might disrupt it.

This would include getting your finish wet by any means, i.e. rain, washing, quick detailers.

Hope this helps...

Mike

Yesterday I did my 2001 F150 SuperCrew, RED, with 2 thins coats of NXT and then topped it with #26. It looks great! That was the first time I have used the NXT and it went on and off so easy. After waiting about 7 hours I topped it with a coat of #26. There is something about the 26 that just makes my truck look so much deeper and wetter. This morning I went back over it with the QD to remove the ever present pollen and WOW! I haven't gotten any of the NXT Booster Wax yet but will get some this week. I would have to say that one again Meguairs has hit a home run with the NXT line.
