Here are some pics of a Vw bus I detailed a couple weeks ago. The bus had been sitting in Portland OR for 10 years and had moss growing all over it. Took about 12 hrs to detail.

For this detail I used

Paint:
Malco Tru-Grit for the initial buff
Meguiars #6 for wax

Fiberglass:
Meguiars One step compound
Meguiars Rv Cleaner wax

That is just incredible!! The moss growing all over that poor little bus was just amazing - had to be fun getting all that off. How badly did it clog your pads?

It was pretty bad, I think I went through probably 8 to 10 pads so about 5 sets since I use a cyclo. It was a fun little project though.:)

What year is it? Westphalia (sp)?

Im pretty sure it was a 71 not sure of the model though pretty sure it was a westfalia although not sure of the edition of it.

A-mazing job! Did you do the interior or engine? Any pics? Did you promise that good a job to the customer?

I just did the exterior. believe it or not the interior was spotless, those things are air tight! and I did not promise him anything like that but I knew I could make it look good!

Nice turnaround. How long did this job take and did you pressure was the moss off?

It took about 12 hrs total and I pressure washed most of it off but some on the roof had to be removed with a toothbrush and cleaner.
