Finally got to try NXT

FINALLY the weather cleared and warmed up enough for me to try NXT. After washing the car with Dawn and a thorough clay bar I applied NXT with my PC in very thin coats.

After sufficient curing time I buffed the car using my new experimental bonnet on a PC and all I can say is OH MY GOD! The car buffed to a brilliant shine! I applied a total of three layers over a two day period and the car looks wet and brilliant. I also used it on the wood interior surfaces and they shined up beautifully.

Sunday I took First in Class at the Belmont Auto Show and I'm sure the NXT had a lot to do with it.

I'm very happy with the NXT and quite impressed. Congratulations guys on a great product!

I'm glad you liked the results Tech Wax gave you, your description mimics my results.

I'm also glad you applied more than one coat, I have been using the Tech Wax on all the cars I have been detailing and I pull each car into the sun and inspect after 1 coat and after 2 coats and while I have always seen excellent results with one coat, it's the second coat, (or second layer), that always acts like the frosting on cake.

Do you have any pictures of your car at the Belmont Auto Show?

That's exactly how I felt after I tried the Concours towel! :)

I look forward to seeing some pictures Leo... but, then again, I don't think I've ever seen a picture of your vehicle that wasn't nearly perfect! The hardware from winning all of these shows must be troublesome to display... you've got so many! With NXT, I have a feeling that there's several more to come!

Sorry Mike, I forgot my camera :( , I guess I just was too sleepy from getting up so early. I have another show this Sunday and I'll be sure to take some pics then. It'll have another coat by then also.

There's nothing better than the feel of a Concours towel on a fresh application of NXT Tech Wax. Well, except for the curves of a woman.

Not thinking this morning I went to take off a fresh application of NXT Tech Wax with a pretty good waffle microfiber and I was struggling. I had put on a thicker than normal coat by hand. Halfway through I decided to switch to another towel and pulled out the DF Concours towels. Wow! What a difference. The wax came off so much easier. I usually save them for a last go over but I won't do that again. The DF towels are a breeze to remove NXT.
