As you may be aware, Meguiar's is known world wide for our range of detailing products, waxes, polishes, compounds - just about anything one needs to keep any car, truck, SUV, boat, RV, etc looking great. As a member of this discussion forum you are certainly aware that we pride ourselves on training and education; after all, that is the primary reason for the existence of MeguiarsOnline. But not everyone in the world speaks English, and we've received numerous requests to expand our educational efforts to include other languages.
Recently, we introduced our series of nine Quik Tips Videos in both Spanish and French (Canadian). With Spanish being the 2nd most widely spoken language in the world, we are further expanding our reach to the worldwide Spanish speaking community by introducing a Spanish language discussion forum. Meguiar's En Linea (MEL) will be heavily based on MOL, with many of the introductory articles and Hot Topics translated and carried over. MEL will be administered in house here at Meguiar's by Joseph Thomas, formerly of our Customer Care Center and Special Events team. He will be assisted by David Sylican and Julio Maldonado in the role of Moderators of MEL. Many of you may know David Sylican as Innovative Detailing and Julio as juliom2 here on MOL. Fluent in English and Spanish, Joseph will also conduct Spanish language Car Care 101 classes in our Irvine, CA offices, and these classes will be open to all registered members of MEL.
