Mississauga, Ontario-Meguiar's detailing class

Hi Mike,

I'm wondering if you have plan to conduct a detailing class in Meguiar's Mississauga, Ontario this summer or in the near future. I believe the last class was conducted last May of 2007. It would be great to know if there's one in line for this summer of 2009.

For what it's worth, I was off yesterday (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34335) and just now found this thread...


Check with Meguiar's Canada (http://www.meguiarscanada.com/index.php?_room=10) about any detailing classes in Canada, at this time we're not aware of any detailing classes scheduled for the future.

Hi! New guy here from the Markham area..

First post (barring the intro post) and this is the most relevant place to do it.. in a 3 year old thread!
Did anybody ever find out if Meguiar Canada would hold some classes? Here's why I ask:

I took on a role of president for the motorcycle club at my workplace. I'm planning my events list for 2012 and I want to hold a detailing class. Problem is, I'm just a novice and there's lot for me to learn before I can teach anybody anything. I have 2 choices: Take a class and learn, or set up a class and invite everyone.

Hopefully, I can entertain either idea.

Or, does anyone in the area have someone that would be interested in conducting a class?
If all else fails, I can follow all the online stuff and try to figure it out on my own. But surely there's someone out there that would be interested in showing off their skills..
I'll contact Meguiar by phone to see if I get any interest from the company.. would sure like to see them take this on! I believe there's plenty of interest in a class!

Since this thread started back in '09 there have been some big changes with Meguiar's Canada - new personnel, a new attitude, etc. Honestly, we aren't sure if they've started doing any classes yet but we'd love to see it. Still, that's sort of up to them to put together. We think giving them a call and asking about it is a good idea.

There are many good detailers on this site from Buffalo area and you are just a skip and jump across the bridge.

Sounds great.. we'll start with a phone call (off to a tough start though.. sent them an email a week ago, they never responded).
If all else fails, Buffalo it is!! :)
