Although I tried hard not to, I got white dried crusty wax around the emblems, and can' t reach it even with my fingernail covered with microfiber. How do I get it off of there?? thanks.

I use toothbrushes, carefully for a lot of my detailing. Toothpicks can come in handy to break up and loosen chunks.
Most of the time I try to tape these areas off so that I don't have to detail them later.
Sometimes you can use compressed air, but you have to be real careful not to cause damage by lifting the actual paint off the car.
Hope this helps...

Like Mike said, I too use a toothbrush and spray it with some Quik Detail spray (spray the brush) and carefully brush away. Wipe clean with a MF towel.

I have seen cars that you could pop off the emblems for better detailing in that area...I just recently took off the Chrysler pentastar emblem on the hood of the wife's car to detail that area.
