I've always used a QD product after 24 hours of waxing to easily remove any residue and even out any inconsistencies (as in streaking) in my black paint. I did a big project today with washing, claying, swirl removal, polishing, and NXT 2.0. Should I use a plain QD to finish up tomorrow, or UQD? Thanks.

Hey,

I would use UQD. I find that it just adds that extra "pop" to the paint!!! :xyxthumbs

UQD.

NXT speed detailer would be my second choice.

I would go with the UQD. I use the QD for claybaring but the UQD for everything else. It doesn't streak as much and I love the way it works.

UQD will also enhance the properties of NXT 2.0.

pcmark,

I would also have to say UQD. You may also want to give M135 a try as it is the pro version of UQD and one gallon is cheaper in the long haul than continueing to buy UQD. Just an idea if you will be using a lot of UQD.

I actually use UQD to remove NXT2.0 with.

I also use both on all windows and wheels.

For the economic factor I would go with the 135. Get the gallon.

I just used UQD for the first time on Sunday. I was using NXT speed detailer. I was very impressed with the slickness and depth it added to the paint which I used NXT 2.0 as my LSP on the last detail. I'm going to stay with UQD.
