On February 18th, 2006 Meguiar's will proudly host a hands-on detailing class for members of SoCal Mini Maniacs (http://www.scmm.org/) here at Meguiar's Corporate offices in Irvine, CA.

Just have to say wow! What a great Day. My hat go off to Mike & Chris for making this day great. Guys I learned so much in just a short amount of time. that quick detail is the #@#@#$# it works. not even using water and how my car turned out. As mike said, a heavy coat of quick detailer around the whole car,then followed up by a 2nd pass. What a difference cleaned all the tyres with insane shine. Interior with the quick wipes,panther leather with the leather cleaner blue bottle not sure what # it was. But it worked. Got spilled starbucks coffee stain off. I was the last guy standing today messing with all the products even clayed sections of the body. Overall was in excellent condition didn't need much claying. Its now 10:45 started raining. that car just sheads nicely. Well. Thanks agains SCMM and the crew!

Once we clayed the entire vehicle, we worked a portion of the hood with ScratchX, and another portion with M-83, Dual Action Cleaner/Polish and our Meguiar's D/A Polisher, it was time to take a peek at it in the sunlight

As you can see, the best results were achieved using the Dual Action Polisher.

As always, those pesky swirls can be removed using the right product, and right technqiue !!!

Let me add my thanks to Meguiar's and especially Chris and Mike for the fantastic presentation they put on last Saturday for us Mini Maniacs. Despite the dubious distinction of having the perfect car to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise on, I must say it was indeed a privilege to sit on on and more importanly get practical hands-on experience with the great Meguiars products. It was a great class. Thanks again!
