Just got NXT wash from Walmart...

I wonder how does this wash affect a car that has already been NXTd out. Instructions state that it preps a car for NXT application and that it does not strip wax off. With its gloss enhancing properties I hope that it enhances a NXT applied paintjob and makes it last longer. So far so good, however, it has almost been a week since I started using NXT and my car has never looked better.

Alexandra... what car wash soap were you using before the NXT a meguiars brand?

seems to work well. This is what I use to use. Before Wesley's I use to use Audi branded wash/wax in one from dealerships and it was expensive but gave a very nice shine to the car while waxing- $5 for a small bottle of only 14 oz.

I never was picky about car wash soap as long as it was gentle enough not to take off wax and never ever non car specific soap.

Just to chime in here,

I like most Meguiar's car washes, I really like,

M-62 Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
M-00 Hi Tech Wash
G-71 Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
D-21 Car Wash Soap (Excellent cleaning soap for detailers)
D-22 Wash 'N Wax

But as of right now, my favorite is NXT Car Wash.

perhaps car wash is one of those overlooked chemicals just like proper paint prep before waxing. Cant skimp on carwash and expect showcar results in between waxings...

Found the NXT wash in Walmart (Martinez, CA) this afternoon. I was on the top most shelf without a tag. Can't wait until the weather clears up to try it. I have 2 coats of NXT on my Acura right now. Want to see how the wash performs.

NXT products are starting to show up at the local Wal-Mart...I'll have to be sure to get a bottle of the car wash...:cool:
