Sparkling Rims

I cleaned my alloys a couple of days ago with Hot Rims, they gleamed, but within a couple of days the shine has gone due to brake dust build-up. Is there anything else I can do to reduce the level of brake dust that clings to the rims? will waxing the rims help? should I be doing this anyway? :confused:

I use a product called Blue Magic, it has a silicone additive that seems to do a good job repelling the brake dust. The hot rims are good for getting them clean between polishings though.
